President break room
Identify shortfalls
Conduct monthly executive meeting. Be transparent with all members. Let members have a vote on issues concerning meetings.
Personally have planning time each week.
We have meetings first with the executive board and then share with the members and then have the members vote.
Finish my plan, send to executive committee, send to area director, upload to TM.ord, schedule special meetings; create alignment with team and club members.
I will download Club Success Plan this afternoon from the TM website and become familiar with it. Maybe the main topic of the next Club Officers meeting.
At our next executive meeting we will work on our success plan, using the template and working with our club mentor.
Communicate with officer/ create committees for member engagement/education projects
Read over Leadership Handbook, research and complete the Club Success Plan by using online reso
Monthly checking on goals
Go over the plan with the executive team, ask for help.
I’m planning to review the Leadership Handbook and start working on the Club Success Plan with other officers. I intend to consult extensively with our past two presidents.
Increase engagement - besides making personal contact with members, engage the board to reach out. In addition, set up a buddy system so no one gets left behind. Don't know sources available, but plan to reach out to successful clubs and get some ideas
The club success plan is vital to officer engagement/planning leads to member engagement which leads to growth.
Also planning to review Robert’s Rules of Order.
Also we hope to set up a evaluation system such as 360 for leadership improvement
Keep sharing pictures from meetings on social media to grow club after each meeting. Keep a running guest list and keep inviting them.
Reach out to members that haven’t been attending to invite to come back in person or virtual. Figure out why they are not coming. Come up with plan with exec team to get members to come back. Work with secretary to send mass email. This will be discussed next week to implement by month end and get at least 5 people back in September
The biggest concern I have is making sure each officer is performing their duties so that position as president is not overwhelming. Delegation is very important. Keeping open communication with officers is very important.
Don’t forget when you participate as a group in the DCP each person can receive Pathways credit!
Creating committees per officer role, it's a great idea
Implement Project management system to help exec team know their roles and contribute as best as possible to meeting club goals

Experienced presidents in this meeting. What strategies, goals or programs have helped increase engagement and FUN?
Club level speech/level competition. Prizes were gift certificates to affiliates
For fun we have developed a incentive program based on roles filled, awards are gift cert or TM swag.
My action plan is to initiate TM project management in ASANA (great tool/app) to break down goals into tasks and share & assign to members of exec team with deadlines create a quarterly social that also serves as a mini membership drive. goal is to recruit at least 3 members during these events
Having reward/awards to encourage member retention***. Have people at least 1 meeting per month brings a friend. Work on advertising.
Enhance club experience by implementing audio/visual equipment for in person
Sessions:
1-Prepare an action plan to achieve Distinguished Club.
2-Make sure that members who need it have coaching.
3- Control the flow of each meeting.
conduct monthly meetings to capture progress, identify
executive challenges, and also implement solutions.
